The South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts & Humanities is a public residential high school located in Greenville, South Carolina. Students from all over the state can attend the school and receive pre-professional training in their art area of choice: Creative Writing, Dance, Drama, Music, or Visual Art.
As the school’s Graphic Designer, I work within the Public Relations department creating print and digital materials for on-campus use and for external promotions.

I love creating posters. They are a true test of the use of hierarchy, type, and negative space. During a regular school year, I design and print between 20-30 posters for events on and off-campus.

Every year the Visual Arts Department hosts an exhibition featuring notable alumni. However, twenty-twenty did not allow the exhibition to be held physically in our gallery. In lieu of our usual physical exhibition, the Visual Arts Department decided to do an exhibition catalog instead. This catalog is designed for print and web.
